The Tupler Technique® is the only research & evidenced-based program to treat a diastasis recti which is the cause of the "mummy tummy." This DVD will teach the 4 steps of the Tupler Technique® and then how to incorporate this program into any exercise routine. The exercise program progress over 18 weeks. During the first six weeks it is important to do just the 4 steps. This allows the connective tissue to heal while strengthening the transverse muscle (core muscle). In week six of the program you will then learn how to incorporate the Tupler Technique® into an exercise routine so you can keep your diastasis closed. A diastasis recti can re-open by doing abdominal exercises incorrectly
The DVD is divided up into three sections. In section one is the 4 steps of the Tupler Technique®. You watch this over the first six weeks. The Tupler Technique® Guidebook is helpful in organizing what you will be doing daily over 18 weeks. It has a chart telling what to do when and how to progress the exercises. Section 2 is the instructions for how to incoprorate the Tupler Technique® into an exercise routine. It is called the 5 p's please....if you can say it, then you can do it! Section 3 shows an exercise routine incorporating the Tupler Technique® into an exercise routine.
